SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan will make his return to WWE TV next week after taking some time off to celebrate the birth of his daughter with wife Brie.
Bryan and the WWE announced the new Friday night on Twitter with Bryan tweeting:
Looking forward to watching history be made at @WWE #MITB on Sunday but Tuesday it’s back to work for me at #SDLive! #YesYesYes – @WWEDanielBryan 4:59 PM 16 June 2017

Bryan’s last appearance on WWE TV came back on the April 11th SmackDown Superstar Shakeup episode.  Since then, he has taken time off from his role as the brand’s on-screen general manager and co-host of Talking Smack to spend time preparing with Brie for the birth of their daughter.
Brie gave birth to a healthy baby girl (named Birdie Joe Danielson) on May 9th.
Bryan’s appearance this week will no doubt coincide with the fallout from Sunday’s Money In the Bank pay-per-view show in St. Louis, and the beginning of the build up for Battleground on July 23 in Philadelphia.
