EFL confirms Championship play-off dates with Wembley final scheduled for August 4

Despite the normal campaign finishing on July 23, the first-leg ties will take place just four and five days later.
The games will be played on Sunday, July 26 and Monday, July 27, with second leg ties penciled in for Wednesday, July 29 and Thursday, July 30.
The final is set for Thursday, August 4 at Wembley Stadium.
Fulham, Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Preston currently occupy the Championship play-off spots with England’s second tier resuming on Saturday.
In fact, the first game back amid the coronavirus pandemic is between promotion rivals Fulham and Brentford.
