A tag team match has replaced the eight-man tag scheduled for this week’s Dynamite.

Matt Hardy will team with Hangman Page to take on The Hybrid 2 (Angelico and Jack Evans). It was originally scheduled to be an eight-man tag team match, with Page, Hardy, and Private Party vs. Chaos Project and Hybrid 2. In a Twitter post, AEW explained that due to the contract Page signed last week, he and Hardy were now a tag team.

“Matt Hardy has stated that Hardy & Hangman, victorious in their tag debut, are now a full-time team,” the post said. “AEW GM @TonyKhan has granted Matt’s request to book them a tag match vs. TH2 tomorrow LIVE on #AEWDynamite to allow Hangman to settle unfinished business from -1’s birthday party!”

An angle aired last week where Hardy offered Page a contract, similar to the ones that Private Party signed that gave Matt Hardy more control over their career. While Hardy was talking to the camera guy, Page switched the contract with another contract, signing it and handing it back to Hardy.

Here is the card announced so far for Wednesday’s show:

The Young Bucks vs. Santana & Ortiz for the AEW Tag Team titles
FTR vs. Matt & Mike Sydal
Riho vs. Serena Deeb in a AEW Women’s title eliminator tournament
Sting will call out Team Taz
