The top football agent has told talkSPORT Ozil’s continued Gunners exile is a lose-lose situation, and believes the German’s representative is not doing his job by letting the player run down his contract without playing.

The 32-year-old hasn’t played since March 7 and may not feature again before his mega £350,000-a-week deal expires next summer, after he was left out of Arsenal’s Premier League and Europa League squads.

If it wasn’t obvious he is not in manager Mikel Arteta’s plans before, it is now, with the Gunners boss recently admitting he feels he has ‘failed’ with his attempts to get Ozil back in his team.

Ozil has hit back at the decision as he continued his public spat with the club, writing he is ‘saddened’ that his ‘loyalty’ to the club has not been reciprocated in a statement on social media.

He also added, ‘loyalty is hard to come by nowadays’.

Joorabchian spoke to talkSPORT about the Ozil saga back in September, when he said the situation ‘should have been resolved two years ago’ and pointed the finger at the German’s agent.
