The Blues boss has confirmed that the club will be looking to make ‘a few additions’ to their squad in the next transfer window.

Due to the transfer ban imposed by FIFA, no fresh faces have arrived at Stamford Bridge since the club legend was handed the reins in the summer of 2019.

A £58million deal for Christian Pulisic had already been agreed, while Mateo Kovacic had spent a season in west London on loan before seeing that agreement made permanent.

“I’m certainly excited about the squad we’ve got, with the young players and if we can get a few additions for areas I feel we need,” Lampard told Chelsea’s official website.

“We didn’t bring in anyone in January, it didn’t work out to be right for us at the time, and last summer we couldn’t bring anyone in, so those windows are gone and we haven’t changed.

Glen Johnson says Chelsea should sign his former Liverpool teammate Philippe Coutinho – He's unbelievable, he just needs an arm around him

“So I am excited about the squad we’ve got, if we can freshen up in the right areas we all know that.”

But who has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge and how could the Blues line-up next season? Find out below…
